In light of the increasing concerns about the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Staffordshire Family Law Solicitors have been following closely the guidance from the government and have taken the decision to suspend face to face office services. This will be reviewed regularly and we hope to return to full office service as soon as possible.
We wish to reassure all clients that this decision to reduce the office services will have limited impact on them or the conduct of their cases.
Our priorities at this time are to
- Protect the health and wellbeing of our staff and clients alike, and
- Ensure that we continue to offer our usual high levels of service and client care without interruption during this time.
Whilst our admin team and your solicitor may not physically be present at the office, they will still working on your matter and will be available to take your enquires and can offer telephone appointments. We have invested in our technology which enables all members of our team to have full access to all your documents whilst working from home ensuring we can do this without impacting the service we provide to you.
Whilst the courts remain open, our solicitors, or where appropriate, a barrister will cover all court hearings to ensure you are properly represented.
Whilst our usual office telephone number can still be used and will be diverted to a member of the team, please feel free to contact your solicitor on their mobile number shown on all our letters to you. Our usual email addresses remain fully operational.
Where possible, please make any payments to the firm by electronic transfer. Our bank details are shown on your bill or alternatively you can call the office for details. We will never call you to give you new bank details or request a payment unexpectedly. Do not make any payments to an account that you have not already used without speaking directly to your solicitor.
Where you have documentation to drop into us, please do either send in the post or drop through our door in an envelope marked for your solicitor’s attention. A member of our team will be attending daily to deal with any incoming or outgoing post.
If you have any concerns or queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
